NOSH Delivers! is a volunteer organization and we are extremely grateful to the many volunteers who make this important work possible. We are always looking to add more volunteers to the team.

WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
Pantry Receptionist/Guide
Help people shop for food, check clients in at the reception desk, and collect donations.
Perfect for someone who enjoys helping others and being part of a team; Spanish speaking a plus!

Bilingual volunteers to assist community members shopping in food pantry
Organizer
- Restock & Organize Food Pantry
- Evening/Weekend Organizing
- Food Donation Processing: optional tasks include unloading pallets, must be able to lift up to 50lb boxes
Perfect for someone who likes staying active and working behind the scenes.
Produce/Dry Goods Steward
Sort fresh fruits, vegetables, and dry goods, so every family receives healthy, beautiful food.
Early Birds
Join us at 8 am to help set up for the day!
NOSH Bag Delivery Drivers
Deliver groceries to recipients in the community.
Pick-up Drivers
SUV: Pick up donated food once a week or as needed from box stores/food banks
Food Rescue: Rescue donated food from local homes and businesses before it goes to waste.
Perfect for someone who enjoys driving and wants a flexible schedule.
Community Ambassador
- Collect food donations at local grocery stores and inspire neighbors to give.
- Volunteer at NOSH pop-up tents at community events to provide information about what we do.
Perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people and starting conversations.
Youth Programs
Parent Council
- Engage local schools & communities to serve our 750 food insecure families.
- Join our NOSH field trip group where we host school trips to NOSH on Wednesdays
- Become a NOSH KFIP parent ambassador coordinator for your school or grade.
KFIP
- Chaperone our Kids Food Independence Program events where youth volunteers decorate and fill KFIP bags. Help log inventory, pack and shelve bags.
Youth Volunteers
- Join us for Tuesday Night Pantry (14 years old and up) or our Wednesday KFIP Pop Up (all ages) to help in the pantry, decorate and fill lunch and breakfast bags.
- High School Students can join NOSH KFIP Leadership Lab on Monday evenings to learn how KFIP supports the NOSH mission to reduce food insecurity in the community and brainstorm on ways to move KFIP forward.
Perfect for parents who want to get involved and students who want to learn about food insecurity in our community and how NOSH Delivers! is helping to bridge the gap.
